Earth change
in 10 years

A decadal satellite time-machine for the planet. Drop a reticle anywhere on Earth. We acquire the orbital record from 2016 and 2025, and measure — pixel by pixel — how much water, ice, vegetation, forests, sand, built surface, roads, and human-activity infrastructure have shifted in a decade.

A decade
of surface
rewritten.

Two passes. One coordinate. Ten years apart. Our pipeline aligns the tiles, extracts eight independent layers — water, ice, vegetation, forests, sand, buildings, roads, infrastructure — and reports the verified delta of each.

Pinpoint
Search any address or drop a reticle on the live map. The geocoder resolves to sub-meter accuracy in under a second.
002
Frame the AOI
Drag a rectangle between 1,000,000 m² and 100,000,000 m² (1 × 1 km up to 10 × 10 km on a side). The smaller the frame, the sharper the delta. Boundaries snap to a clean grid.
003
Acquire pair
We pull phenology-matched Sentinel-2 median composites for 2016 and 2025 (cloud-masked at the pixel level via COPERNICUS/S2_CLOUD_PROBABILITY). Vegetation is measured by NDVI (Tucker 1979) and EVI (Huete 2002), cross-validated against MODIS MOD13Q1 NDVI (Didan 2015). Sand uses BSI (Rikimaru 2002). Water comes from JRC Global Surface Water (Pekel 2016, Nature). Ice from MODIS MOD10A1 NDSI (Hall 2002). Forests from Hansen GFC v1.13 (Hansen 2013, Science) plus JRC TMF (Vancutsem 2021) on tropical AOIs. Buildings from Open Buildings v3 (Sirko 2023) + JRC GHSL multi-temporal (Pesaresi 2023). Roads from OpenStreetMap. Human-activity Δ from NOAA VIIRS Nighttime Lights (Elvidge 2017) and JRC GHSL POP (Schiavina 2023).

Render report
Claude Haiku 4.5 reads both RGB composites + both land-cover maps + the authoritative pixel counts and produces a hedged peer-review-style narrative. It is forbidden from inventing or restating numbers — those come exclusively from the deterministic, cached pipeline above.

HOW WE SEE

We don't predict.
We record.

Earthvolution does not model the future. It interrogates the past. We compose two cloudless captures of the exact same coordinates — one from 2016, one from today — and let a vision model describe the visible delta.

No projections. No forecasts. Just the ground truth, ten years apart, narrated.
